Rugby
This sport is not as popular as football or basketball in Italy, but is steadily growing.
A large number of rugby clubs are spread nearly everywhere in Italy, which is a chance for a rugby tour to enjoy the many aspects of Italy's landscapes and history.
Like all sports in our country, rugby is played only at club level, since Italian schools do no sports activity. The players' ages range from under 7 up to senior players. Italian rugby also offers a considerable choice of veteran and female teams.
The rugby laws are much the same as in English-speaking countries, especially from under 15 upwards.
Cavalier Travel has acquired a huge experience in this field. We can arrange friendly matches for your visiting sides, enter your team in tournaments, and work out exactly tailor-made itineraries as well as give suggestions on where to spend an exciting rugby week or a shorter time. Our rugby tours have always proved successful thanks to our many contacts, to our careful assistance, and to the variety of accommodation types and places we offer.
